Refund & Return Policy

How refunds are handled for course fees, literature and e-magazine subscriptions purchased from Grahak Sewa Pratishthan.

Last updated: 19 October 2026 Digital delivery

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to payments made to Grahak Sewa Pratishthan through this website, including:

  • Course and training fees, including certificate courses.
  • Purchases of literature and publications.
  • Subscriptions to the Grahak Arth e-magazine.

2. Nature of our items

Items sold through this website are delivered digitally. Course material, purchased literature, subscriptions and certificates are made available through your account on this website rather than as a physical product. Because access is granted immediately on successful payment, the refund position differs from that for physical goods, and is set out below.

3. When a refund is given

A refund will be made in the following cases:

  • Duplicate payment — where the same item or fee has been paid for more than once. The duplicate amount is refunded in full.
  • Payment deducted but order not completed — where an amount has been debited but the enrolment, purchase or subscription was not created. The amount is refunded in full.
  • Item not delivered — where payment succeeded but the material, subscription or certificate was not made available to you, and we are unable to resolve it.
  • Cancellation before access — where you cancel a course enrolment or purchase before the course has commenced and before any course material or purchased item has been accessed or downloaded.

4. When a refund is not given

  • Where the course material, literature or e-magazine issue has already been accessed or downloaded.
  • Where the course has already commenced.
  • Where a candidate does not attend classes or does not appear for an examination.
  • Where a candidate is found ineligible because of information that was incorrectly supplied by the candidate at the time of registration.
  • Where a subscription period has already begun and issues have been made available.

5. How to request a refund

Send a refund request to the Trust using the contact details in section 9, including:

  • Your full name and registered e-mail or mobile number.
  • The transaction or receipt number, the date and the amount.
  • The item or course concerned, and the reason for the request.

Requests should be made as soon as the issue is noticed. We will acknowledge the request and tell you the outcome.

6. How approved refunds are processed

  • Approved refunds are made to the original payment method used for the transaction.
  • Once approved by the Trust, the refund is initiated to the payment gateway, and the amount is normally credited within 7 to 10 working days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
  • Payment gateway charges, where they are not returned to the Trust, may be deducted from the refunded amount. This does not apply to duplicate or failed payments, which are refunded in full.

7. Cancellation by the Trust

If the Trust cancels or postpones a course or programme and you do not wish to transfer to the revised schedule, the fee paid for that course is refunded in full.

8. Delivery of items

Items purchased through this website are delivered digitally through your account on this website. Where a printed copy is supplied separately by arrangement with the office, the terms for that supply are confirmed at the time of the arrangement and are not covered by this policy.
